How to Discover Your Gifts

Study the gift lists in Scripture. Some will resonate with your experiences. Experiment with service. Try different forms of ministry and pay attention to where you find effectiveness and energy. Listen to the body. Other believers often recognize your gifts first. Examine your passions. What needs move you to action?

How to Use Your Gifts

Serve with humility. Gifts are tools, not trophies. 1 Peter 4:10 calls us faithful stewards. Serve with love. 1 Corinthians 13:1 says gifts without love are a sounding brass. Love is the motivation. Serve consistently. The church needs faithful, dependable service over time. Serve in partnership. No gift is sufficient alone. The body works best when every part contributes (1 Corinthians 12:14-20).
